A new broad core upgrade began running out Friday – this 1 called the July 2021 Primary Update, Google’s Google’s search liaison Danny Sullivan announced, adding that individuals should also expect a September 2021 Primary Update next month.
Historically, Google has introduced a core Google algorithm upgrade every month or two or so. It ‘sit’s been pretty much six months since the last core update, the December 2020 Core Update. Before so, it was seven months since the May 2020 core update, which took place on May 4, 2020. So that one took considerably longer than previous updates to roll out, but we are expecting another update in about a month from now.
Two core updates. Exactly why is Google pushing out two different core updates 30 days after the next? Google told us that a few of the company’s planned improvements for the June 2021 update are just not wholly willing to be introduced that month. So Bing decided to go ahead with the prepared elements today, and others are probably be pressed out next month in the September 2021 primary update. Bing could keep us submitted on when that September 2021 primary upgrade is released.
“Needless to say, any primary upgrade can procontentsops or gets for a couple contents. Due to the two-part nature of the discharge, a tiny portion of content might see changes in July that opposite in September,” Bing said.
Items to expect. Like with any Bing algorithm upgrade, your rankings may rise, may drop, or may remain stable. Also, due to the two-part nature of the release, some content and sites might see changes in June 2021 that reverse in July 2021.
This update is a global rollout, impacting all languages, and can take about a couple of weeks to roll out. Google will confirm when the rollout is complete, before the page experience update slated for mid-June.

That update was big and broad and took several weeks to roll out fully. Before that was the January 2020 core update and welded some analysis on that update over here. The one prior compared to that was the September 2019 core update. That update felt weaker to numerous SEOs and web admins, as numerous said it didn’t didn’t have as big of an impact as previous core updates.
